The Legal and Compliance Department provides comprehensive legal, regulatory, and compliance support to ensure the company operates lawfully, efficiently, and with managed risk.

We partner with the business to safeguard the company’s legal standing, maintain regulatory compliance, and support informed decision-making across corporate, operational, and strategic initiatives.

Our Role

We serve as both a risk manager and a strategic advisor—protecting the organization while enabling sustainable growth and sound governance.

What We Do

1. Protect the Company

  • Manage legal and regulatory risks
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and government regulations
  • Minimize exposure to penalties, disputes, and reputational harm

2. Support Business Operations

  • Provide legal advice on day-to-day business operations
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts to ensure enforceability and risk mitigation
  • Handle corporate actions such as incorporations, amendments, restructurings, and closures

3. Ensure Regulatory Compliance

  • Maintain compliance with SEC, DTI, FDA, and Data Privacy regulations
  • Manage licenses, registrations, permits, and regulatory filings
  • Develop internal policies, SOPs, and compliance systems required by regulators

4. Enable Growth and Decision-Making

  • Support management in transactions, expansions, and special projects
  • Ensure corporate governance, regulatory readiness, and compliance alignment
  • Act as a strategic partner in planning, execution, and risk assessment
